UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP STAGES – ROUND-UP

Europe’s premier club competition ended its Group phase with two big Italian casualties: Roma finished third in Group A behind 1st placed Benfica and runners-up Manchester United, thanks to a 6-2 drubbing at Old Trafford on the final day, and Milan was knocked into the UEFA Cup by Lyon and Shakhtar. Other than that, the usual suspects made it through to the Knockout Round, where the real fun will begin. Below are the complete standings:
